Over diagnosis leads to unnecessary treatments & concerns. It’s not activities that break us down but those we aren’t prepared for. Most pains will recede if you focus in finding you’re baseline dysfunctions & shoring them up. Otherwise the constant search to “fix” things will lead inexorably to greater over-protection & loss of desires activity & social participation and more & more aggressive interventions.

A sustainable growth mindset gets to the source of the source where the most impact can be made. This as it turns out is not from identifying structural “hardware” factors which may or may not be contributing but certainly can only be addressed with great downside risk & minimally proven effectiveness in most cases. The good news is sustainable activity tolerance can be improved by focusing on gradually building up you’re weaknesses. These functional or “software” factors can be addressed with minimal downside risk & are effective long-term strategies to build health span
